South Africa’s Olympic governing body, SASCOC, has suspended Athletics SA president Leonard Chuene, the Board of ASA and its members “with immediate effect pending the outcome of a disciplinary investigation and further action” over their handling of the Caster Semenya saga according to SASCOC’’s official website.

Johannesburg - Kirsten Nematandani has been elected unopposed as the new president of the South African Football Association (SAFA), following the withdrawal of 2010 LOC Chief Executive Officer Dr Danny Jordaan and Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza from the presidential race.
